Meet the CEOAkira L. Frierson Wood, RN-MSN has been a nurse for over 10 years with most of her background in women's health. Being a Labor and Delivery nurse has brought her much joy as it has been a dream and desire that has come to reality. From a young age she knew that she was destined to help bring life into the world and provide care to all women.
She received her Bachelor's degree in Biology from Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta, GA and is a recent graduate of Walden University obtaining her Master's in Nursing pending licensing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Through her employment Akira witnessed first hand the disparities of the urban community, adolescents and minorities expanding her desire to improve the knowledge and health of the younger generations. Today she strives to dedicate her work to educate, heal, and empower adolescents and women to live healthier lives. While focused on being a change agent in the community, Akira is also a dedicated mother to her daughter Zariyah J'nae and bonus son Elias Bryan, a supportive, loving husband Leroy, and fur mom to Clover. She believes the work starts at home first. Her motto that keeps her motivated in times of struggle or frustration is, "If I can help somebody as a I travel along, then my living shall not be in vain." |

Our company's primary focus is to ensure the overall wellness and to support the superhero without a cape, Mom from pregnancy through postpartum. While mom is taking care of everyone else we want to Take Care of You with medical knowledge and a holistic approach.
